Saqib Hanif

Saqib Hanif former goalkeeper of Pakistan's national football team, currently playing in B.G sports club, Maldives. He formerly played for the dominant KRL club. After Pakistan football team's failure of getting into FIFA 2018 and AFC 2019, Players have decided to make singular entities in the football world.

“I want to give my best here before looking ahead,” Saqib said after joining the Maldives side on a season-long deal.

“If I do well, my contract might be extended to another year and if I do well, maybe doors to Europe or elsewhere will also open for me.

“But first I’ve to do the right things right here.”

The gloveman might become the second Pakistan international to play for the Maldives’ top-tier club, following the former Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) team-mate Saadullah who featured for B.G. Sports last year.
Saad helped Saqib to take the decision about joining Maldives' club
The season started on April 19, 2016.
"I’m ready to show that despite adversity, Pakistan players can perform at a higher level,”  Saqib said.
